Join Us in Reaching Our Community for God
It is our Vision and Mission here at The Pentecostals of the Antelope Valley : The Connect Point, "To Love God, Love Others, and Serve the Community", and our Community Ministries are designed to do just that by extending the grace, love, and compassion of Christ to those in need in our local community.  Below you will find a list of our various community ministries and a brief description of each.  If you would like to know more information about a particular ministry or if you would like to become involved with one of these wonderful programs, then please contact us.
Unforsaken Angels
Through this program, we strive to reach those people who the world, not God, has turned it's back on.  We want to let them know that no matter what has happened to them in the past, there is a future, and that future should be spent eternally with Jesus Christ. We pass out "Manna-Packs" which contain food, water, and religious content, as well as, spend time witnessing, and inviting them to come and experience the awesome power of God with us at one of our weekly services.
Back to School Communion & Prayer
This is a service dedicated to all of those who are returning to our schools, both public and private.  This includes teachers and students of any age group or level of education.  It is our belief that the people who have a direct impact on the lives and futures of our young people, as well as those who are doing the impacting, need to have a fresh annointing upon their lives and they need to allow God to guide their day-to-day walk as they progress throughout the school year and this event is held as a way for the members of our congregation, as well as anyone else who wants to participate, to reconnect with God for His mercy, protection, and will for the upcoming school year.
Community Christmas
This is an activity designed so that our church can give back to the community and assist families within the area so that they can experience the joy of Chirstmas.  Starting the week after Thanksgiving we collect gifts by donation to distribute to less fortunate families within our community.  Please assist us in putting Christ back in Christmas for these families.
Fall Harvest Festival
This is a way for the young people of our congregation, as well as those of our community, to have a Halloween experience that is free from the goolish and dangerous events that the world associates with this day.  We have games, contests, and of course, plenty of candy for all of the young people who come and participate.  This event has turned into a local favorite for many children and it is only getting bigger and better.
Fourth of July Fireworks Blast-Off
For the 4th of July, our church provides fireworks, food, and fellowship free of charge for any and all wishing  to participate.  We have hotdogs and hamburgers, as well as volleyball, football, basketball, and many other games at George Lane Park during the day and later on in the evening we shoot off fireworks at another local park.  It's a real BLAST!
Community Food Pantry
This ministry help to meet the needs of the less fortunate in our church and in our community by providing families with a means by which they are able to have their needs met thanks to the generousity and kindness of others within our community.
