WHAT WE BELIEVE
- We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. It is the complete revelation of His will for salvation & the only unfailing rule of faith & practice for the Christian life.
- We believe there is only one God. He is the creator of heaven & earth, & of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), & as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit).
- We believe in the great commission & are endeavoring to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy & compassion.
- We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial & resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues.
- We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He ministers to His people through tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy; words of knowledge & wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, healing, helps & government.
- We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His substitutionary death on a cross; His bodily resurrection; & His personal, imminent return.
- We believe that man was created by & for God; that by man's disobeying God, every person incurred spiritual death, which is separation from God, & physical death as a consequence; & that all people are sinners by nature & practice.
- We believe in the rapture of those who have lived, the eternal blessedness of those in right relationship with God, & the everlasting punishment of those who reject God's forgiveness.
